Rising Hudson River Valley band Spuyten Duyvil debuts at Bridge Street Live, promising a foot stompin' night of new and traditional Americana Roots Music.
Spuyten Duyvil (pronounced "SPITE-en DIE-vil") is an Americana powerhouse rising rapidly through the Northeast music scene. On October 31ST, 2014, they bring tightly crafted songs, stellar musicianship and soaring vocal harmonies to Bridge Street Live. Opening for Spuyten Duyvil is local favorite CRB Unplugged.

With Spuyten Duyvil, every performance is a romp through the last 100 years of American Roots music. The New York Times describes their music asRaucous roots”.  The Huffington Post calls them "a mighty powerhouse...channeling straight honky tonk country one minute and drug-addled mystical blues the next.  All the playing is hot." Their brand of original and traditional American Roots music blends Old Time, Blues, 2nd Line, Bluegrass and Folk Rock to create a uniquely modern mix.  Lead by song-writing couple, Mark Miller and Beth Kaufman this six piece powerhouse brings barn burning energy to venues throughout the Northeast and Midwest.

The band's debut in Collinsville follows a rockin’ tour featuring performances at Citi Field (formerly Shae Stadium), The Philadelphia Folk Festival, The Brooklyn Folk Festival, The Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, The New Bedford Folk Festival, Caramoor's American Roots Festival, Music Mountain and the Pittsburgh Center for the Performing Arts.
